Luleå Upper Secondary School is Luleå Municipality's unified upper secondary school, consisting of ten school units, one of which is an adapted upper secondary school. The school units are located in the four blocks of the Upper Secondary School Village, forming a campus area in central Luleå. Over 2,400 students study here, and we have approximately 350 employees. There are many contacts with local businesses, and in the local steering groups, business and the upper secondary school collaborate to create good conditions for students to be well prepared for life after upper secondary education.

This position is organized within the Engineering Programme, part of Teknikcollege. Teknikcollege is a quality stamp and a collaboration platform where schools and technology companies cooperate to design and ensure the quality of education that matches the industry's competence needs. The programme has approximately 300 students and a strong teaching team of experienced teachers with broad competence.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The work as a student assistant involves, in close collaboration with teaching teachers, supporting students' learning and development based on the current curriculum and other regulatory documents. The assignment includes contributing to pedagogical adjustments and supporting and following up with the student in daily schoolwork.

QUALIFICATIONS

To succeed in the role, you need to have a upper secondary school diploma and be able to work fluently in Swedish, reading, writing, and communicating. It is an advantage if you have relevant education, for example as a student assistant, social pedagogue, or assistant nurse. Experience from working in healthcare and/or within the school system is also considered an advantage.

You have good communication skills and can plan and organize your work efficiently. In the role, it is also important that you are adaptable, as set plans can change quickly depending on the student's needs. Therefore, we believe you are receptive and solution-oriented. Building relationships comes naturally to you, and you are quick to step forward and make new contacts. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
