The Employment and Education Administration has a joint responsibility for integration, employment, education, and employment issues concerning the inhabitants of our municipality. The administration is also responsible for the Music School and food supply, as well as fulfilling tasks for the medical and psychological parts of student health services in municipal preschool classes, primary school, adapted primary school, upper secondary school, and adapted upper secondary school. About Brönja School

Brönja School is a grades 7–9 school in Sävast, seven kilometers outside Boden center, with approximately 250 students. Brönja School has three work teams organized by grade level and a well-developed and unit-anchored student health service. The student health team consists of a special education teacher, school speech therapist, study and career counselor, school counselor, and school nurse. Brönja School also has a security team consisting of a security coordinator and a security resource person, who work actively to create relationships, security, and study peace for our students. Our focus areas are increased goal achievement through higher student attendance, as well as strengthened reading and writing skills in all school subjects. We have a good outdoor environment with a basketball court, football field, and sports hall, as well as the forest right at our doorstep.

Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for a music teacher for Brönja School. You will be part of the grade 7 work team, and teaching will be your main task. You also have the role of contact teacher for a group of students, and in this role, you create the best conditions for the students to develop, thrive, and feel secure.

The position is primarily at Brönja School, but may also include one day at another school.

Qualifications

We are primarily looking for You who are a certified teacher with the qualification to teach music in grades 7-9. Additional subject qualifications are meritorious.

We want you to be open to varying working methods, collaboration, and school development. Otherwise, you have good pedagogical insights and are well familiar with the school's governing documents and systematic quality work.

Your pedagogical and social skills make it easy for you to connect with people, and you are therefore also good at creating good learning environments and conveying your knowledge to our students. You are experienced in using computers as a tool in pedagogical activities.

Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
