The Role of Speech Therapist

In a typical day, you will meet preschool-aged children who have difficulties developing speech, language, and communication. You will conduct assessments, provide advice on approaches and linguistic stimulation, and deliver direct treatment interventions when appropriate. Working with children involves collaboration with guardians and other people close to the child.

A strength of our workplace is that we are several speech therapists with different experiences. There is always someone to consult, and we are keen to support each other in our work.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date as agreed.

Within the Rehabilitation Centre, approximately 300 employees work within 11 areas with a cross-professional composition based on a person-centered approach.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a licensed speech therapist. We would prefer that you have worked as a speech therapist with children previously.

You thrive working both independently and in a group. You are structured, collaborate well, and have a holistic view where the patient and their relatives are involved and in focus for your interventions. You are interested in developing and improving the operation and have a creative and solution-focused approach. We place great importance on personal suitability.
