The child and adolescent psychiatric care in Hässleholm offers traditional outpatient care as the foundation of clinical operations, infant care, and access to intermediate care services based in Kristianstad. The operations are conducted in cross-professional teams with broad competence. We have also established functional teams focusing on specific problem areas. We have a creative and positive work climate in a team consisting of approximately 20 employees from various professional categories, such as psychologists, doctors, social workers, care assistants, and nurses.

The position is a one-year temporary assignment, as the regular nurse is undergoing further education. Welcome to our team!

WORK RESPONSIBILITIES

Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (CAP) outpatient care offers assessment, treatment, and investigation to children/young people and their families in the municipalities of Hässleholm, Perstorp, and Osby.

The role of the nurse in the team involves medication follow-up for neuropsychiatric conditions as well as general psychiatric conditions. You will work with common nursing tasks within the scope of your competence and in collaboration with the other team members. You will also work with cross-clinical tasks such as parent education and various types of information meetings.

We are constantly working on development and can offer you both short and more comprehensive training.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who apply are a licensed nurse with the right to practice in Swedish healthcare. Proficiency in Swedish at level C1 or higher according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement for the position.

The following education and experience are meritorious:

• Specialist education in psychiatry or child and adolescent care.
• Further education in step 1 Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
• Professional experience in child psychiatric assessment, treatment, and investigation within neuropsychiatry.
• Good computer skills and experience with the medical record system Melior.
