Your Role

In this role, you will become part of a team that develops and produces Saab's advanced air defense systems. Here, technology and innovation are combined with collaboration and precision.

As a key cog in an agile project team, you will work with:

• Manufacturing, integration, assembly, and testing of our air defense systems
• Reviewing and working based on design documentation and requirement descriptions
• Suggesting improvements and adjustments to optimize the product's function and quality
• Producing technical publications that clearly describe operation and execution for our users

The positions are located in Halmstad, Växjö, or Boden. Business travel within Sweden occurs but is generally not considered burdensome. International travel may also occur.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is technically knowledgeable, solution-oriented, and has a strong focus on quality. You thrive on finding efficient solutions and ensuring high standards in everything you do. At Saab, we value pragmatism, flexibility, and a willingness to contribute both individually and as part of a team.

You have:

• A completed upper secondary education or vocational training in mechanics, joining technology, or material selection.
• Good proficiency in Swedish and the ability to understand English design documentation.

We consider the following competencies as meritorious:

• Vehicle integration
• Electrical installation qualifications
• Overhead crane training
• Hot work certification

The position requires you to undergo and pass the security clearance checks according to current regulations. For positions where Saab requires security classification, citizenship requirements may apply in certain cases.
