We are looking for a dedicated and positive wind turbine technician with electrical experience in Björnberget!

A snapshot of your day

In the role of Wind Turbine Technician, you will primarily work at a site within the service center in the hub. On a daily basis, there are three locations where technicians work on wind turbines, traveling between sites in service vehicles.

Our main hub is located in Björnberget, but you will travel to three different locations in Västernorrland County, Sweden. Therefore, we are looking for someone who lives in the surrounding areas.

How you will make an impact

• We are looking for you if you want a stimulating and varied job, where you will be responsible for the service and maintenance of wind turbines at our customers' wind farms.
• Solve problems on-site to ensure high operational reliability and provide excellent service to our customers.
• A large part of the job is ensuring that on-site work is always carried out with safety as the highest priority. For electrical work, we work according to the Swedish electrical standard (SS-EN 50110-1).
• You will support our customers both remotely and on-site, as well as coordinate service operations and resolve product issues. This includes implementing improvement measures and modifications.
• You are responsible for reporting and documenting your work, including monitoring, coordinating, and following up on work performed by subcontractors.

The knowledge of our employees is important to us. You will therefore start with training at Siemens Gamesa's training center in Denmark as well as at various locations in Sweden.

Who are we looking for?

• Technical education in electricity.
• Certified electrician, with at least 2–3 years of experience.
• Experience working with high voltage in turbines is a great advantage.
• Health certificate/approved health examination.
• Fluent Swedish, both spoken and written. English is a great advantage.
• Class B driver's license, manual transmission.
• Comfortable working at heights.
