What can we offer you?

Grosvadsskolan is a lower secondary school (grades 7–9) with approximately 380 students, divided into 14 classes and one special education group. The school is located in the center of Finspång, with nature just outside the door. The school consists of two connected building blocks and has a passage leading to the swimming hall, sports, and leisure facilities.

Around 60 employees work at the school; teachers, the student health team, and resources are divided into three year-group teams. You will be part of one of these work teams and also a subject team, depending on your competencies and the subjects you will teach. The position also includes shared mentorship in one of our classes. Grosvadsskolan works to give our students the tools for lifelong learning.

Your future responsibilities

You will plan, conduct, evaluate, and assess students' knowledge development in Mathematics and Science subjects. You will collaborate closely with colleagues in work and subject teams. Additionally, you will collaborate with the school's student health and safety team. In both teaching and mentorship, you will work to create safe and good learning environments to give all students the best conditions for development and learning.

The role also involves

Close collaboration with colleagues and the student health team regarding pedagogical and social issues. Continuous contact with students and their guardians throughout the school year, where information about students' knowledge development is communicated.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with the qualification to teach Mathematics and Science. We would like you to be interested in and have experience with language-developing methods in a multilingual classroom. You are confident in your leadership, have the ability to engage and challenge students, and possess knowledge of meeting the differences of all students. You have a positive attitude, are creative, proactive, and structured. You are solution-focused and have a flexible working style. You build good relationships and interact in a listening and humble manner in your collaboration with others.

In close collaboration with colleagues who want to develop, we leverage each other's competencies so that our students succeed in their learning. You believe in every student's potential to succeed and have goals and clear planning for the teaching that you design and implement so that all students are given the opportunity to develop and learn. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
