About the role

We believe that future complex infrastructure projects require efficient digital management throughout their entire lifecycle. Within Ramboll’s business area ‘BIM & Digital Advisory’, we work together with our clients to develop and implement strategies that make projects more data-driven, efficient, and sustainable – from early planning and design through to implementation, operation, and decommissioning.

The business area ‘BIM & Digital Advisory’ is part of Ramboll’s global Service Line Buildings Advisory & Consultancy. Leveraging the strength of a global organization, we are able to offer holistic advisory services that unite technology, strategy, and digitalization. Buildings Advisory & Consultancy combines our business area’s expertise in digital processes with specialist knowledge in sustainability strategies, project and construction management, as well as safety and fire protection. The result is smart, safe, and sustainable buildings and environments.

We are now looking for you who have several years of experience in BIM and digital processes and want to guide our clients through their digitalization journey!

Your new position

You will be part of our national unit ‘BIM & Digital Advisory’, with employees belonging to our geographic teams in Stockholm-Uppsala, Gothenburg, and Malmö. We work broadly with BIM and digital information coordination on multiple levels – setting digital strategies and requirements at the program or organizational level, advising on the management of clients’ building portfolios, as well as taking on key roles in construction projects as digital leaders and coordinators. Our work covers both internal support, where we support Ramboll’s project teams with digital project coordination and process improvements, and external advisory to clients where we help develop and monitor digital workflows. Our client portfolio spans a wide range of sectors – from healthcare, infrastructure, and industry to water and energy.

As Senior BIM Manager, you will become the client’s partner in all matters concerning digital project coordination. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Advising on and developing BIM strategies
  • Ensuring efficient workflows and digital processes throughout the entire project lifecycle
  • Building long-term relationships with clients and being their first point of contact for digital matters
  • Contributing to the continued development of our team in Stockholm and expansion towards Uppsala
  • Developing and working on our internal Design Excellence projects, focusing on streamlining our routines and processes and exploring new opportunities through tools such as AI and digital twins

About you

  • You have at least 8 years of experience in BIM
  • You have at least 2 years of experience in developing BIM strategies
  • You have experience in defining requirements, implementing, and driving digital processes in installation-intensive projects or projects of similar complexity
  • Experience with integration between various property management and project-related IT systems, as well as geodatabases, is an advantage
  • You thrive in a client-facing role where you can influence and develop digital strategies and processes
  • You can communicate effectively in both Swedish and English, orally and in writing
  • You are a curious person who enjoys learning new things. It is an advantage if you have an interest in working across boundaries between our units nationally and internationally
  • You are located in the Greater Stockholm area or Uppsala and surroundings

What we can offer you

  • A key role where you can influence and develop digital working methods for our clients
  • The opportunity to work with exciting projects and clients at various stages and in different industries
  • An organization that invests heavily in digitalization and automation
  • A dynamic and competent team that values knowledge sharing and innovation
  • An inclusive work environment where different experiences and perspectives are valued
  • An international knowledge environment with experience from 35 countries
  • Long-term goals in a foundation-owned company that invests in its employees as well as in research and humanitarian efforts around the world
  • A flexible work environment with the possibility to work remotely a few days a week

Are you our new colleague?

We hope you want to become part of our team! Please send your CV (including a project CV) as a first step.

If you identify with this role but do not meet all criteria, we still welcome your application. Passion and potential can often outweigh an imperfect CV – at Ramboll, you will receive help and support to grow. You might be the perfect fit for this position or for another role in our team.

Application deadline: 2026-06-26

We look forward to hearing from you!
