Then the role of Specialist Nurse Assistant at Annagården might be your next step. We are currently looking for a Specialist Nurse Assistant for a fixed-term vacancy lasting until 2027-09-30, with a possibility of extension.

YOUR ROLE

As a Specialist Nurse Assistant, you will become an important part of our team. Approximately half of your working hours will be dedicated to tasks central to your role. The exact scope may vary over time depending on the operational needs. You will work weekends and evenings, but to a lesser extent than other nurse assistants.

In your role, you provide support to individuals within the areas of cognitive impairment, psychiatry, and palliative care. You introduce, mentor, and train colleagues in these areas. You drive quality improvement work, are responsible for the BPSD register, and serve as a contact person for palliative care. Additionally, you contribute to developing and inspiring activities that make daily life secure and meaningful for the individuals.

As a Specialist Nurse Assistant, you are also part of a network where you share experiences, create conditions for new knowledge, and inspire each other to stay updated.

YOUR COMPETENCE AND EXPERIENCE

We are looking for you who are educated as a Specialist Nurse Assistant, with a focus on psychiatry, palliative care, cognitive diseases, or elderly care. If you also have experience working with people with cognitive diseases, we see this as an extra strength.

To thrive in this role, we believe you are an empathetic and confident person who enjoys collaborating. You easily see the needs of others, can plan and structure your work, but are also flexible when the situation requires it. Inspiring and supporting colleagues comes naturally to you – and you like to keep yourself updated in your field.

You need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as sufficient physical prerequisites to handle the practical parts of the job. Skellefteå Municipality is part of a Finnish and Sami administrative area. Language skills in Finnish and Sami, as well as cultural competence in these areas, are therefore meritorious.
