About the business unit

The IT Support business unit is tasked with developing and maintaining overarching and common processes for the area. It is also responsible for services within these parts. Our operations are primarily located in Sundsvall, Härnösand, Örnsköldsvik, and Sollefteå. The mission of the IT operations is to deliver high-quality and secure IT services to the region's activities. Deliveries are made through projects, maintenance, and support for a complex and vital operation. IT also works extensively as a client organization since the region's IT operations are managed by an external provider. Approximately 90 people work within IT, all with varying backgrounds and experience. We strive for an open working climate where we help each other develop. We are now looking for a Technical IT Project Manager who will play a central role in leading and delivering our IT projects. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects according to schedule and budget, as well as ensuring that the projects meet our high quality standards. The position is a permanent full-time employment with an earliest start date of 2026-09-01.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams and collaborate with different departments to ensure successful project deliveries.
• Develop and monitor project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Identify and manage risks and solve problems that may arise during the project.
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders and keep them informed about the project's progress.
• Ensure that projects meet technical requirements and quality standards.
• Drive projects according to our decided project governance model PPS.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who

• Have a post-secondary education in the IT field, or equivalent knowledge from work experience.
• Have experience leading technical IT projects in the public sector or in organizations we assess as equivalent for the next three years.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing.
• Have a B driving license.

It is meritorious if you

• Have education in project management, for example leadership, change management, risk management, and communication.
• Have experience of procurement, value assessment, and project models such as PPS.
