Cardiology Unit at Hudiksvall Hospital

The Cardiology Unit at Hudiksvall Hospital includes a ward with 20 cardiology and internal medicine beds, a cardiology clinic, and a physiological laboratory. We have close internal collaboration across unit boundaries and share competencies, premises, and resources – always with the patient in focus.

Responsibilities

As a Specialist Physician with us, you will work with:

• Standard ward work with heart and medical patients.
• Clinic work at the cardiology clinic.
• Consultancy work internally within the hospital and with other units.
• Review of physiological laboratory examinations and collaboration with BMA at the phys lab.
• Supervision of colleagues and internal training.
• On-call duties in the medical on-call line.
• Placement as a specialist in the emergency department may occur.

Qualifications

We are now looking for you who thrive in a flexible operation with much happening within new care forms and patient participation. You have a broad general cardiology interest and can see the patient's entire journey through care. You like development and enjoy trying new ideas, and are happy to spread your engagement to colleagues. We place great importance on personal suitability when appointing the position.

In the role of Specialist Physician, you must:

• Be a licensed specialist physician in cardiology.
• Have on-call competence in internal medicine and cardiology.

For this position, it is meritorious if you have experience of supervision, development work, and holding internal training. We would like you to have an extra interest in emergency care and ward work.
