The Surgical Emergency Care Unit (KAVA) is a department with a heart for both development and care. What we offer

We provide care and treatment for patients within emergency surgery and trauma. We have four care teams, each caring for six patients. At KAVA, your security, participation, and development are at the center.

We are now looking for you who have experience as a nurse in inpatient care and are curious about surgical emergency care.

• Patient safety in focus: Including nursing rounds, structured head-to-toe assessments, and bedside rounds.

Job Description

As a nurse, you will be part of a team with several professions such as doctors, specialist nurses, advanced specialist nurses, assistant nurses, and rehabilitation staff. We have a pharmacist daily to facilitate and ensure safety regarding medication management, for example before discharge, which gives you as a nurse the conditions to have more time for the patients.

About You

We see that you are meticulous, responsible, and have the patient's best interest in focus. You enjoy collaborating, are genuine in your approach, and contribute to a positive atmosphere in the team. We value curiosity and the desire to learn.

Since you work in constant dialogue with patients and colleagues, it is a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
