Do you want to combine operational leadership with the development of people and business? We are now looking for a Production Manager for our branch in Trollhättan – a role for you who thrives close to the operations and wants to make a difference every day.

In Trollhättan, we handle various types of materials such as iron, metals, paper, plastic, cable, hazardous waste, etc. The role involves ensuring that the flow on the yard operates smoothly and safely.

About the role

As a Production Manager, you have a central role in daily operations where you lead and distribute work in production. You work close to the operations and are a visible and present leader. You have personnel and occupational health and safety responsibility for a team consisting of approximately 17 employees, and in daily work, you are supported by foremen, which provides good conditions to be close to the employees while driving development and improvements. Together with your manager, you follow up on key figures, drive improvement work, and are involved in issues related to the external environment and occupational health and safety.

An important part of the role is to develop structure and working methods related to material flows, where we want an operation that is efficient and clear.

Examples of tasks included in the role:

• Lead, coach, and develop employees in production
• Ensure a safe working environment and drive occupational health and safety work
• Work with competence development in the team
• Drive improvement work related to structure, flow, and efficiency
• Follow up on production and key figures
• Ensure that environmental and quality requirements are met
• Work with structure and order according to Lean and 5S, for example via daily operational meetings

Working hours are Monday to Friday 07:00-16:00.

Qualifications

To succeed in the role, you need to have:

• Experience of leadership and experience in leading personnel
• Experience of working with occupational health and safety issues
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
• Good computer skills
• Very good Swedish in speech and writing

Meritorious:

• Experience from industry, production, warehouse, or other similar industry
• Knowledge of Lean and 5S
