Your workplace

You will be part of a work group consisting of six social secretaries (biståndshandläggare), two of whom handle cases regarding LSS/SoL. The other four social secretaries handle cases under the Social Services Act (SoL) with a focus on the elderly.

Your responsibilities

As a social secretary, you are responsible for needs assessment according to the Social Services Act (SoL). You investigate, assess, and make decisions on interventions according to current legislation. The work also includes following up and reviewing previously made decisions. It is important that you have the ability to maintain focus on the individual even when many parties are involved.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

  • have a degree in social work or other higher education that is assessed as equivalent by the employer.
  • have a B driver's license (manual transmission).
  • have good knowledge of Swedish, both orally and in writing.

Meritorious

It is meritorious if you:

  • have experience in the working method IBIC (Individual's needs at the center)
  • have experience in public administration
