About the role

As a welder at SVEMAKO in Strängnäs, you will become an important part of their production and a valuable cog in the machinery. The workday is practical and varied, involving both welding work in the workshop and assembly "in house". You will work together with experienced colleagues and follow the company's routines for quality, schedule, and working environment.

Responsibilities

• Welding: Perform welding according to drawings and work instructions, primarily MIG/TIG depending on the work order.
• Reading drawings: Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work orders to perform the correct welding method and dimensions.
• Collaboration: Communicate with supervisors and colleagues to ensure efficient workflow and high quality in deliveries.
• Assembly: In addition to welding, assembly of machine guards will be included in the tasks.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is meticulous, has an "eye for detail", and thrives with varied tasks. You have a sense for quality and work safely and systematically. You need to have experience welding thinner materials. Perhaps you have worked with welding in the automotive industry, or another workshop industry where welding in thinner materials is common?

We would prefer that you have:

• Professional experience in welding, preferably MIG/TIG and/or MAG.
• Knowledge in reading technical drawings and following work instructions.
• Experience in assembly and handling of simpler machines and tools.
• Valid welding certificates or training is meritorious.
• A driver's license (Category B) is required as the workshop is located outside the city center.
