Specialist Physician for Child Rehabilitation in Blekinge

The Child Rehabilitation unit in Blekinge is looking for a specialist physician who wants to help develop the future rehabilitation services for children and young people with disabilities.
Here, you will meet children and families over time and work together with dedicated colleagues in a multiprofessional team. We offer a role where medical expertise is combined with a holistic view, long-term perspective, and close collaboration with families, municipalities, and other healthcare providers.

The Role
The work is broad, developmental, and stimulating, encompassing medical assessments, diagnostic investigations, treatment planning, and follow-up of long-term health conditions in children and young people with various disabilities. The role includes consultations, teamwork, collaboration with neighboring healthcare providers, and support for other professions within the rehabilitation unit.
We are looking for you who
Are a specialist physician in Child and Adolescent Medicine, Child Neurology, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, or another relevant specialty. Experience in rehabilitation, neuropsychiatry, or neurology is meritorious but not a requirement.

Candidates considered for employment must provide a certificate of good conduct from the Swedish Police Authority prior to employment. Region Blekinge assigns all permanent staff to wartime duties. Some of our positions are security-classified, requiring the employee to undergo a security clearance interview and register check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585).
