About the Role
You will join a cohesive ILS team working to ensure efficient operation and maintenance solutions for products and systems within communication solutions. Ultimately, you and your colleagues will contribute to ensuring that the Swedish Defence Forces have functional communication solutions year-round over time. The products you work with include both hardware and software.
A significant part of the role involves working in Teamcenter, the PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) system used by our client. In this system, registration and maintenance of product records for various communication solutions are handled. You will also work with technical documentation, information gathering, analyses, and calculations. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other functions to ensure that the correct information is available for different projects and products.
Responsibilities
Below is a list of common tasks in the role. Prior experience in all areas is not a requirement – you will receive the necessary training and introduction to succeed in the role.
- Work with registration and record maintenance in Teamcenter (PLM system).
- Create and maintain maintenance tables, accessory lists, and kit lists.
- Perform analyses and calculations related to maintenance, product data, and ILS work.
- Create and update technical documentation related to system operation and maintenance.
- Gather information regarding materiel and software to ensure accurate registrations.
- Participate in meetings and information forums to ensure system and product data are kept up to date.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, customers, and other stakeholders to gather and coordinate information.
Who We Are Looking For
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
- Swedish citizenship (required for security clearance).
- A post-secondary engineering degree considered relevant for the position.
- Experience working in technical information, documentation, or product data systems.
- A valid B-driver's license, as travel may be required for the role.
Qualifications That Are Meritorious
- Background in the defence sector or defence industry.
- Experience working with master data and reference data.
- Experience working in any of the following systems: Teamcenter, TIA/IDA, PMF.
- Completed Teamcenter training for the role of Registrar or Service Planner.
