The Welfare Administration's task is to help people who, due to age, disability, economic or family problems, need various forms of support and assistance. The Welfare Administration consists of three departments: Care and Support, Support, and IFO (Individual and Family Care). The Care and Support department consists of units within elderly care homes, home care services, and municipal primary care. The Support department includes LSS (Support and Service Act for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). The IFO department consists of social services, the employment unit, social psychiatry, and the assistance unit.

Within the municipal primary care in our municipality, a multidisciplinary team consisting of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, nurses, and nursing assistants works together. Together, we provide care and support to approximately 260 patients. Our patients have varying needs, but what they have in common is that they need health care interventions at home. The work within municipal health care is characterized by meaningfulness, variety, and challenges – where no day is like another.

Job Description

We are looking for you with great commitment who want to work independently with people in need of health care. We offer you an exciting job with varied tasks where you will assess, organize, and carry out different interventions based on the individual's needs. Night staffing consists of one to two nurses on duty, predominantly one. As the sole nurse on duty, you also have close cooperation with the night patrol, which consists of two nursing assistants. The position includes weekend work; you work every fourth weekend. There are four nurses in total staffing the night group.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who

• are a registered nurse.
• have work experience as a nurse.
• have a category B driver's license.

We would prefer that you

• have experience from municipal health care.
• have education in psychiatry, palliative care, or dementia care.
• are a specialized district nurse, or alternatively within elderly care.

Your personal qualities are important to us, and we will place great emphasis on them. We value that you show personal maturity by being responsible and confident in yourself, as these qualities enable you to perform safe and individualized health care and make quick, well-founded decisions. Since the work is performed at night, requirements are placed on you as a nurse to be flexible, independent, sensitive, and solution-focused in your professional practice. Given the variation in tasks and the different situations that may arise, you need to be able to work independently, take initiative, and have good judgment to prioritize effectively. Your communication and teamwork skills are also of great importance, both for creating trusting relationships and for good cooperation with colleagues to develop and maintain high quality in health care.
