We are now looking for a Senior Business Central/Power BI Developer who wants to contribute to the further development and refinement of an extensive system landscape consisting of internal applications, custom-developed systems, cloud-based solutions, and several end-user services.

About the Role

As a Senior Business Central/Power BI Developer, you will work on developing and enhancing BTJ's customizations in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Power BI. You will participate in requirements gathering and solution design, as well as analyze business processes to identify opportunities for improvement and develop solutions that meet business needs.

In this role, you will develop integrations with surrounding systems and services, participate in upgrades, maintenance, and further development of BTJ's solutions, and ensure that development follows Microsoft's recommended development methods. You will also provide technical advice and architectural expertise in projects, acting as a key link between business, project management, and technology.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone with several years of experience in development within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or earlier versions of NAV, as well as good experience in Power BI development and associated report generation.

You have good knowledge of AL development and experience with extensions, event-driven development, and integrations via API, REST, OData, and web services. We also expect you to be familiar with Git, Azure DevOps, and modern development tools, and to use AI-based tools as a natural part of your development work.

To succeed in this role, you need to understand how business processes work and be able to translate business needs into effective system solutions. Experience in areas such as finance, purchasing, sales, warehouse and logistics, production, project accounting, or service and aftermarket is considered an advantage.

It is also an advantage if you have:

• Certifications within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Power BI
• Experience with Power Platform
• Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, or integration platforms
• Experience from the manufacturing or production industry
• Experience with solution architecture or technical leadership
• Experience with .NET, C#, and ASP.NET
• Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases
