About the Role

To thrive in the role of Cook, you are engaged, quality-conscious, and positive. You are responsible, self-initiating, and service-oriented, valuing customer interaction and quality highly, which is also reflected in your work approach and customer service.

As an employee in Osby Municipality's meal service, you are part of a whole where we in the entire organization collaborate well and support each other.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and cooking of meals, including special and consistency-adapted food.
• Dishwashing, cleaning, serving, and self-control.
• Administrative tasks such as orders, invoice handling, and diet data management.
• Participation in various current working groups.
• Introduction of new employees.
• Supervisor for interns, holiday workers, and other participants in various labor market measures.
• Participation in the Meal Unit's development work.

Qualifications

• Cook training, or other education assessed by the employer as equivalent.
• Work experience from restaurants or large-scale kitchens.
• Basic knowledge of the Office package.
• Ability to understand and follow current work instructions.
• Proficiency in Swedish (speaking, writing, and comprehension).
• Experience working in Proceedo or other e-commerce/ordering systems.

Merits

• Category B driver's license and access to a personal car.
• Experience working in Matilda or other diet data systems.

Employment Terms

Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Start date 2026-08-17 or as agreed.

There is an opportunity to combine this work with being a part-time firefighter. Assessment is made based on the needs of the operations.
