Do you want to cook with purpose – close to nature and with the children's health in focus? We are now looking for a kitchen manager for Friluftsförskolan Backabusarna!

About the role

As a kitchen manager with us, you are responsible for planning, preparing, and cooking nutritious and delicious lunches and snacks for our children. You work independently but in close collaboration with the educators to create a safe and pleasant meal environment.

Responsibilities:

• Menu planning (with a focus on variety, nutrition, and sustainability)
• Purchasing of raw materials
• Cooking lunch and snacks
• Self-control and kitchen hygiene according to current guidelines
• Maintenance/cleaning of the kitchen and associated areas, some cleaning of other areas

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working in a kitchen, preferably in a preschool or school setting
• Has knowledge of nutrition and special diets
• Is structured, responsible, and flexible
• Enjoys working in an environment where nature and outdoor pedagogy are central
• Has a good attitude and likes to contribute to a positive atmosphere
• Experience in meal pedagogy is a plus
• Is positive about cooking outdoors in the preschool's outdoor kitchen once a week
