About the role
Are you someone who is passionate about service and has a natural eye for detail? Do you want to work in an international environment where you can create first-class customer experiences? Then this might be the role for you.
We are now looking for a Service Coordinator for Sodexo's client in Lund. The role is located in a customer-facing environment where you will be responsible for the service surrounding visits to the Customer Center, which receives some of the company's most important customers and partners.
You will become an important part of a small team with a high level of service and will have overall responsibility for planning, coordinating, and ensuring that every customer visit is carried out with the highest quality. The role involves both administrative and operational tasks where you work closely with the kitchen, restaurant, colleagues, and internal clients.
Working hours are during the day, Monday–Friday 07:30–16:30.
In your role as Service Coordinator, your main responsibilities will include:
- Planning and coordinating customer visits and meetings in the Customer Center
- Booking catering, coffee breaks, lunches, and other service initiatives in various systems
- Preparing conference and meeting rooms according to orders and requests
- Responsibility for table setting, serving preparations, and ongoing service during customer visits
- Close dialogue with the kitchen and other internal functions to ensure a high level of service
- Handling special requests such as gifts, flowers, and other customer-specific solutions
- Inventory and ordering of consumables
- Ensuring that premises and equipment maintain high standards before, during, and after visits
- Ongoing communication with internal customers and colleagues
The position of Service Coordinator is a one-year full-time fixed-term contract, with a planned start in late August/early September 2026.
About you
We are looking for you who have experience from a service-oriented business, such as the hotel, restaurant, or conference industry. You are accustomed to meeting guests and customers with high expectations and understand the importance of delivering service with both quality and professionalism.
You have good administrative skills and feel comfortable working with the Office package. Since the role involves contact with international visitors, you need to be able to communicate fluently in both Swedish and English. A B-class driver's license is required.
As a person, you are unpretentious, positive, and solution-oriented. You have a pronounced sense of service and thrive in a role where small details make a big difference. You are meticulous, organized, and work in a structured manner even when the pace varies. Furthermore, you are proactive, flexible, and have the ability to quickly adapt to the needs of the business.
You are someone who likes to stay one step ahead, see what needs to be done, and take responsibility for creating a professional and welcoming experience for every visitor.
Important for the role are:
- Experience from the hotel, restaurant, conference, or other service-oriented business
- Very good sense of service, quality, and details
- Good administrative skills and familiarity with the Office package
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- B-class driver's license
