About the role

We are currently looking for a meticulous and quality-conscious grinding operator for a position with our client, Siemens Energy, in Trollhättan. The start date is immediate, and the work is conducted on a two-shift basis.

You will work in a modern workshop environment with a focus on metal machining, primarily in high-alloy materials. The role demands a strong focus on safety, quality, and precision in execution.

Main responsibilities

• Manual grinding of components in high-alloy steel
• Grinding and finishing
• Other workshop-related tasks
• Handling of forklifts and overhead cranes when needed

Who we are looking for

We are looking for you who have experience from a workshop environment and are accustomed to working with metal machining. You have prior experience with grinding and polishing and have a good understanding of reading technical drawings. You are a structured person with an eye for detail who prioritizes safety and quality.

Requirements

• Experience in manual grinding and workshop work
• Good skills in reading technical drawings
• Forklift and overhead crane certificates
• Category B driver's license and access to a car
• Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written
