Ahlberg Cameras designs and manufactures complete camera systems for the nuclear power industry. The camera systems include, among other things, monitoring systems with cameras, cabling, and control equipment for nuclear power operators, as well as underwater inspection systems with custom software. The products are used by customers worldwide and place high demands on quality, precision, and technical competence.

The company was founded in 1981 and today has approximately 40 employees with offices in Norrtälje, Varberg, Wilmington in the USA, and Dolný Kubín in Slovakia. The operations are characterized by high technical competence, innovation, and close collaboration between production and development. Each employee is expected to take responsibility for their area while contributing to the company's deliveries and continued development.

Responsibilities

As a Technical Technician, you work broadly within production with the assembly and testing of advanced camera systems. You are independently responsible for your products from start to finish and become part of a tightly knit team where collaboration and knowledge sharing are a natural part of everyday life.

The role is varied and includes both standard products and customer-adapted solutions. You work based on work orders, pick materials from the warehouse, and assemble the products before conducting testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance.

Examples of tasks:

• Product and system assembly
• Precision mechanical assembly
• Soft soldering of electronics and cabling
• Product and system testing
• Troubleshooting within mechanics and electronics
• Assembly and testing of prototypes

We are looking for someone who has

• Experience in technical work, for example in assembly, production, or mechanics
• Good technical understanding and a strong interest in technology
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you also have

• Knowledge in electronics and troubleshooting
• Experience with soft soldering
• Knowledge of networking/IP communication
• Experience with the business system Monitor
