Project Assistant for ESF Project Progresso
Falun Borlänge Regionen ABDalarnas län, Borlänge
Previous experience is desired
About the Progresso Project
In preparation for the launch of a new ESF project, Progresso, we are looking for a project assistant to support the project manager, primarily with administration. The project period is from 2026-09-01 to 2029-06-30.
In the Progresso project, Falun Borlänge-region collaborates with the municipalities of Falun, Säter, Gagnef, Ludvika, Leksand, and Rättvik, as well as Fornby Folk High School (Region Dalarna) and the County Administrative Board. The project focuses on supporting individuals who are far from the labor market and not reached by the Swedish Public Employment Service; most of these individuals receive social assistance.
The project will work on an individual basis with a focus on three main areas: activity requirements for persons receiving social assistance, language support/development, and long-term effect monitoring.
Responsibilities
As a project assistant, you will be a key support to the project manager and other staff, primarily handling various administrative tasks. This may include developing administrative routines, compiling participant data, reporting to Statistics Sweden (SCB), taking meeting minutes, and assisting with various events. A central part of the role is to provide good conditions for project staff so that reporting to the ESF Council functions correctly and efficiently.
Falun Borlänge-region AB is a small and flexible organization without its own support functions, which means you may also need to contribute to other tasks related to ongoing projects as needed.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have previous experience in administrative work, preferably in EU-funded projects where sustainability aspects are particularly important.
You have at least a secondary education, or alternatively other education or experience that we assess as equivalent and suitable for the position. You express yourself fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and appreciate order and structure. It is meritorious if you have worked in municipal operations or have other experience from contexts where municipalities have been involved. It is also meritorious if you have experience working within AME (Municipal Labor Market Unit) and/or work aimed at step-by-step integration for the target group.
Your personal qualities are crucial for this role. To thrive, you need to be engaged, proactive, and patient. You are structured, detail-oriented, and enjoy working in environments where tasks are varied and sometimes arise unexpectedly.
Please send your application via email no later than June 28th to [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]).
We review incoming applications on an ongoing basis, so please send your application as soon as possible. NOTE! Mark your application with "Progresso".
