As a Quantity Surveyor at Clausen & Lovén, you are a key player even before projects begin. You are responsible for analyzing tender documents, preparing detailed cost estimates, and contributing to well-founded bids that create profitable projects. Your Responsibilities

As a Quantity Surveyor, you are responsible for preparing cost estimates and bids for the company's construction projects. You work independently with support from the Site Manager, CEO, and Project Managers to ensure that bids are well-prepared and competitive.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Analyzing tender documents, drawings, technical descriptions, and other documentation
• Performing quantity take-offs and preparing cost estimates for construction contracts
• Soliciting and evaluating quotes from subcontractors and suppliers
• Conducting risk and opportunity analyses prior to bidding
• Participating in the development of production setups, schedules, and budget foundations
• Presenting cost estimates and bidding strategies to the Site Manager and management
• Contributing to budgeting and forecasting work after winning projects, as well as supporting the project organization during handover and startup

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in cost estimation and bidding, driven by creating well-prepared documentation. You are analytical, structured, and comfortable working independently while also collaborating easily with other functions within the business.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Construction technical education from a university college, university, or equivalent experience
• A few years of experience in cost estimation, bidding, or project work within the construction industry
• Good ability to read and interpret drawings, descriptions, and technical documents
• Experience with estimation software, such as Wikells or similar systems
• Good knowledge of Excel and other digital tools
• A valid driver's license (Category B)
• Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written
