Administrator/Project Assistant for Egenmaktsarenan Dalarna
Falun Borlänge Regionen ABDalarnas län, Borlänge
Previous experience is desired
For the ESF project Egenmaktsarenan Dalarna (Self-Empowerment Arena Dalarna), we are now looking for an administrator/project assistant for the project's final year, from September 1, 2026, to August 30, 2027.
Falun Borlänge-regionen, together with the municipalities of Borlänge, Falun, Ludvika, Leksand, and Rättvik, as well as Fornby Folkhögskola (Region Dalarna), is driving the Egenmaktsarenan Dalarna project. The project supports individuals who are far from the labor market and whom the Swedish Public Employment Service cannot reach with its standard measures.
The work focuses on continuous and close supervisory support, with parallel efforts directed towards the labor market or studies. The goal is for individuals to make step-by-step progress closer to the labor market while experiencing increased self-empowerment and better health. The project also develops cooperation structures between the partners to optimize the possibility of providing the individual with the right support.
The aim is for these new methods and working approaches to be disseminated and implemented in the organizations' regular operations, where a long-term sustainable structure for cooperation has been established between administrations, municipalities, and the Region.
Responsibilities
In the role of administrator/project assistant, you will be an important support for the project manager and other staff, primarily handling various administrative tasks. This may include developing administrative routines, compiling participant data, reporting to Statistics Sweden (SCB), taking meeting minutes, and assisting with various events. A central part of the assignment is to provide good conditions for project staff so that reporting to the ESF Council functions correctly and efficiently. Falun Borlänge-regionen AB is a small and flexible organization without its own support functions, which means you may also need to contribute to other tasks related to ongoing projects as needed.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have previous experience in administrative work, preferably in EU-funded projects, where sustainability aspects are particularly important. You have at least a secondary education, or alternatively, other education or experience that we assess as equivalent and suitable for the position. You express yourself fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and appreciate order and structure. It is considered an advantage if you have worked in municipal operations or have other experience from contexts where municipalities have been a party. It is also an advantage if you have experience working within AME – Municipal Labor Market Unit – and/or work aimed at step-by-step progression for the target group.
Your personal qualities are crucial for this role. To thrive, you need to be engaged, proactive, and patient. You are structured, meticulous, and enjoy working in environments where tasks are varied and sometimes arise without warning.
