Responsibilities

At DISAB, you will become part of the production team where you build large industrial vacuum systems and suction units used worldwide. When an order comes in, production takes over and is responsible for completing the machine according to drawings and customer requirements.

What makes this role unique is that you will follow your own machine through the entire building process. You work closely with the product from the first component to the fully tested unit ready for delivery. Your tasks will include, among others:

• Assembly of mechanical components based on drawings and instructions.
• Installation of motors, pumps, and vacuum systems.
• Routing of cables and simpler electrical installations according to electrical diagrams.
• Assembly of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Test runs, troubleshooting, and adjustment of finished units.
• Quality control and verification before delivery.

You will work in DISAB's production facility in Vallentuna together with an engaged team that is happy to share their knowledge. Here, everyone helps each other, supports one another, and values careful work.

We are looking for you who

Have experience in mechanical work, assembly, or similar practical tasks. You might come from the automotive industry, manufacturing, or have worked with machinery and equipment in another technical environment. To succeed in the role, we believe you have a genuine technical interest and enjoy understanding how things work. If you have previous experience with reading drawings, hydraulics, pneumatics, or simpler electrical work, it is an advantage, but the most important thing is that you have the willingness and ability to learn.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license (Category B).
• Experience in mechanical work, assembly, or similar technical background.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and/or English.
• Ability to read and follow drawings and instructions.

Advantages:

• Experience with hydraulics or pneumatic systems.
• Knowledge in electricity and electrical diagrams.
• Category C driver's license.
• Forklift license.
• Overhead crane license.
• Experience from automotive, industrial, or workshop environments.
