Do you want to help shape how solution architecture is driven in some of the most complex and business-critical customer projects in Sweden? Here you have the opportunity to lead a larger team of dedicated architects, which is unique for consulting firms in Sweden.

We are now looking for a Head of Architects / Lead Solution Architect who wants to take a key role in leading, developing, and positioning our architecture function within Dynamics 365.

Responsibilities

This is a role for you who is equally confident in leading senior architects and consulting teams as you are in stepping into an architecture assignment and having qualified dialogues with C-level customers. You are driven by creating results, both through people and through strong solutions. You will have overall responsibility for a team of solution architects, ensuring that the right competence meets the right assignment and that we deliver high quality in complex environments.

A typical month in the role involves:

• leading and coaching the architecture team in their assignments and development
• being part of the Swedish leadership of the consulting organization, responsible for competence supply, staffing, and delivery nationally
• working part-time in projects as an architect
• driving and participating in qualified sales and solution dialogues with C-level executives at major customers
• ensuring the right match between consultant, customer, and assignment
• acting as a sounding board in both technical and people-related matters
• participating in and contributing to the development of Columbus as a leading Microsoft partner

Customers and projects you will work with:

• large and complex organizations
• solutions within ERP D365 F&O
• projects where architecture is crucial for business results

In the role, you are also expected to:

• be a role model and mentor for both junior and senior colleagues
• contribute to developing our position in solution architecture, including areas such as AI
• continuously work on setting and improving working methods related to Columbus's business plan regarding the architecture area
• represent us externally through lectures, events, or LinkedIn
• use and develop your network within the industry (customers, Microsoft, partners, etc.)

This is a role for you who wants to be where the action is – close to customers, business, decisions, and delivery.

Your Background

• have 10+ years of experience from complex IT and transformation environments
• are confident in leading senior consultants and architects with high expectations
• are driven by influencing business, people, and technology

To succeed in the role, you also need to:

• be a strong communicator, storyteller, and inspirer
• be able to build trust with both customers and internal stakeholders
• thrive in a role where you both:
• work closely with people and their development
• and at the same time drive business and solutions forward

It is a great advantage if you:

• have an established network within the industry (customers, Microsoft, partners)
• are comfortable representing externally – e.g., on stage, in customer forums, or via LinkedIn
• have experience from roles such as Enterprise Architect, Lead Solution Architect, Architect Manager, or similar
