Your Responsibilities

As a Utility Construction Worker (VA) at SBVT, you will become part of an excavation team where you will work together on pipe laying for investment projects and the ongoing operation of the municipality's pipe network. Your tasks include, for example:

• Major rerouting and new installations of water and sewage pipes
• Repairs and emergency interventions, such as clearing blocked sewers or replacing valves
• Planning, documentation, and follow-up to ensure quality

Working hours are daytime 07:00–16:00 with flexible options. The position is based in Broby, with on-call duties occasionally required.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with experience in construction or who is willing to learn the trade. The most important thing is your attitude, your willingness to develop, and that you enjoy physically demanding work.

As a person, you are responsible, solution-oriented, and a team player who thrives in a workplace where everyone helps each other. You keep things organized so that work can be carried out both safely and with high quality. A Category B driver's license is required for the position; a Category BE license is an advantage. Tractor driving may be required.

Skåne Blekinge Vattentjänst AB, also known as SBVT, is a joint operating company responsible for operating water and sewage facilities in Bromölla, Olofström, Osby, and Östra Göinge. SBVT is owned by Bromölla Energi & Vatten AB, Olofströms Kraft AB, Osby Municipality, and Östra Göinge Municipality.

Together, the four municipalities have over 55,000 inhabitants, and approximately 14,000 customers/households are connected to the water and sewage facilities managed by SBVT. This includes, in addition to over 200 miles of VA pipelines, 17 waterworks and 15 sewage treatment plants.

SBVT currently has approximately 60 employees and an annual turnover of approximately 140 MSEK. The purpose of the company is to have an efficient, competent, and sustainable organization for the operation of the shareholders' respective VA facilities – for the benefit of our VA subscribers.
