Kiruna Wagon is a leading Nordic supplier of innovative freight wagon systems and is now looking for a Junior Project Manager to join our team in Kiruna.

As a Junior Project Manager, you will play a central role in the planning, coordination, and follow-up of projects within our operations. The role involves close collaboration with design, procurement, production, and maintenance to ensure that projects are delivered according to agreed quality, schedule, and budget.

You will work alongside experienced project managers and gradually develop your skills in project management. This role is ideal for someone who is structured, communicative, and interested in technology, planning, and customer relations.

As a Project Manager, you will report to the responsible manager and receive support from senior project managers in the execution of small to medium-sized projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and coordination of projects regarding schedules, resources, and material requirements
• Compiling inquiry documents for the procurement department
• Coordination with design, production, and maintenance departments
• Ensuring that the right materials and resources are available for the projects
• Participate in production and project planning meetings
• Contribute to risk analyses and project follow-ups
• Ensure that required documentation is available prior to production start
• Handle customer contact and ongoing reporting throughout the project lifecycle
• Monitor project progress, costs, and budget
• Manage deviations and follow-up with suppliers and customers

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Post-secondary education in technology, industry, project management, or equivalent experience
• Strong administrative and organizational skills
• Interest in technology and project control
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
• Ability to collaborate with various functions within the organization

• Experience from industrial, workshop, or railway operations
