Technology at the forefront

As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for the technical systems of the properties, including heating, cooling, ventilation, and energy optimization. A large part of the work takes place in digital environments where systems are monitored, analyzed, and optimized. At the same time, the role is much more social than many might think.

You interact with tenants, collaborate with colleagues, and help solve both large and small challenges in everyday life. This requires technical understanding, but also communication skills, empathy, and the ability to build trust.

– It is easy to think that this is just a technical role, but we work closely with our tenants every day. Therefore, it is important to enjoy meeting people and being able to build good relationships. Technology is important, but the human interaction is just as important, continues Sebastian.

Sebastian himself started his journey at Örebroporten as a technician. Today, he leads the maintenance department, but still works closely with the operations and his team. This close leadership style and strong cohesion characterize the entire department.

Examples of tasks

• Responsible for the operation, monitoring, and optimization of the properties' technical systems.
• Work with heating, cooling, ventilation, and control systems.
• Follow up, analyze, and rectify alarms and deviations in digital monitoring systems.
• Contribute to energy efficiency and the follow-up of the properties' climate and energy goals.
• Work with the follow-up of energy and operational data and contribute to the energy efficiency of the properties.
• Troubleshoot and rectify technical problems in properties and maintenance areas.
• Participate in development and investment projects related to the properties' technical systems.
• Maintain ongoing dialogue with tenants regarding operational issues and indoor climate.
• Collaborate with contractors, colleagues, and other functions within Örebroporten.

The position involves being on call according to a schedule.

Are you the one we are looking for?

We welcome both recent graduates who want to develop within maintenance technology and those with experience from the industry. The most important thing for us is your curiosity, willingness to learn, and your engagement.

We believe you have:

• Maintenance technology education, preferably from a University College (YH) or equivalent competence.
• Category B driver's license.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Good IT skills and interest in digital systems and tools.

It is meritorious if you have experience in property management or other technical operations, as well as knowledge of the systems Web Port and Vitec. If you also have advanced competence in control and regulation technology, electrical competence B or higher, and experience with on-call and standby work, we see this as an extra plus.
