Your role

You will work within our production technology department, on the tool design section, which covers mechanical design, system design within electricity and automation, as well as test development with a major focus on software development.

In the role of Machine Assembler, you will work with the assembly and preparation of our machine equipment in close collaboration with our tool designers. The work consists primarily of mechanical assembly, but also the integration of electrical and control systems is included in the total delivery. All equipment is tested and verified before delivery, and you will be part of that process.

Working with continuous improvement is part of our daily routine as we constantly strive to develop and improve our equipment and processes.

Your profile

We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in technology and who like to find solutions to technical challenges. You are used to working independently, take responsibility for your tasks, and enjoy being part of a team where collaboration and quality are in focus.

You are meticulous and structured in your work approach and appreciate order and tidiness. If you also have experience with electricity and automation, it is a big plus, as it is an important part of our designs. Since we perform adjustments and complements in our own workshop, experience with manual machine processing is also meritorious.

To succeed and thrive in the role, we see that you have:

• Practical vocational education
• Good knowledge of reading drawings
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English
• Category B driver's license

It is meritorious if you also have experience with:

• Manual cutting processing
• Electricity and automation
• Pneumatics

As a person, you are solution-oriented, responsible, and have an easy time collaborating with others. You contribute with positive engagement and take responsibility for ensuring the work is performed with high quality.

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to current regulations for security clearance. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
