Your Role

You will work within our production technology department, specifically in the tool construction section. This section covers mechanical design, system design within electrical and automation, as well as test development with a strong focus on software development.

In the role of Machine Assembler, you will work with the assembly and preparation of our machine equipment in close collaboration with our tool designers. The work consists primarily of mechanical assembly, but also includes the integration of electrical and control systems as part of the total delivery. All equipment is tested and verified before delivery, and you will be part of this process.

Working with continuous improvement is part of our daily routine, where we constantly strive to develop and improve our equipment and processes.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in technology and enjoy finding solutions to technical challenges. You are accustomed to working independently, taking responsibility for your tasks, and thrive as part of a team where collaboration and quality are in focus.

You are meticulous and structured in your approach to work and appreciate order and tidiness. If you also have experience with electrical systems and automation, it is a big plus, as this is an important part of our designs. Since we perform adjustments and completions in our own workshop, experience in manual machine processing is also meritorious.

To succeed and thrive in the role, we see that you have:

• Practical vocational education
• Good knowledge of reading technical drawings
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English
• Category B driver's license

It is meritorious if you also have experience with:

• Manual cutting processing
• Electrical and automation
• Pneumatics

As a person, you are solution-oriented, responsible, and have an easy time collaborating with others. You contribute with positive engagement and take responsibility for ensuring the work is performed with high quality.

The position requires you to undergo and pass security clearance checks according to current regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for specific citizenship.
