About the workplace and role

We are now looking for a new employee for one of our units, Stiftsvägen. Stiftsvägen is a group home with 5 residents. We work with everything from light support to full nursing care and lifting. We would appreciate it if you have knowledge of TAKK (Total Communication Approach).

We are looking for someone who is confident in the role, can spread calm when our residents need it most, and who is responsible and good at finding solutions. You are sensitive and flexible in picking up the residents' individual needs.

In the role of support assistant, you work on creating trusting relationships and collaborations. Through pedagogical support, alternative communication, and care, you work to provide residents with good living conditions. The duties also include developing implementation plans, documenting, and conducting regular evaluations.

Working hours

The working hours are day/evening and every other weekend. The working time measure is 36.33 hours per week for a full-time position.

About us

Housing LSS is divided into 22 managerial areas. Each manager has two to three group or service residences in their area.

Support assistants and support aides work at our residences. There is a pedagogical coordinator per area who works with the holistic view and quality in the pedagogical work. We also have support pedagogues who work close to the residents while supervising employees. In addition, coordinators, unit administrators, and licensed personnel also work here.

Qualifications

• Approved grades from the care and nursing program, child and youth program, society and behavior, or other education that the employer deems equivalent are meritorious.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing.
• Knowledge and experience of low-affective handling and clarifying pedagogy.
• Basic skills in digital work tools.
• Experience/knowledge of nursing care.
• Knowledge of TAKK is meritorious.
• Driver's license is meritorious.
