We primarily care for inpatients and acute patients of all ages. Here, all patients are cared for after undergoing surgery at Sunderby Hospital.

We are looking for

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Experience with the medical record systems Cosmic and Provisio, as well as previous experience in postoperative operations, is an advantage.

What you will work with

Work at our postoperative care unit is both varied and educational. Here you meet patients of all ages and with a wide variety of surgical procedures. We care for patients who have undergone major surgeries and therefore have a more demanding and longer postoperative course. Our operations run 24/7, all year round. Work at our day surgery unit may occur depending on operational needs, and of course, you will receive a thorough introduction there. On the postoperative care unit, we have eleven monitoring beds, including procedure beds, as well as a single room with monitoring. On our day surgery care unit, we have ten monitoring beds, as well as a separate pediatric department within day surgery with five monitoring beds and its own patient flow for children.

Information about the position

We offer permanent full-time employment, with shifts during days, evenings, and weekends. Start date according to agreement. Norrbotten County applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
