About the role

As a Maintenance Technician at the company, you will become an important part of the operations in Hallsberg. You will work with preventive and corrective maintenance on vehicles, including repairs, inspections, and refilling of consumables. The role is varied and includes servicing and repairing the equipment used within the operations.

This is a consultancy assignment starting 1/9/2026 – 31/8/2027. You will be employed by us at The Place and work on-site at the client's company. For the right candidate, there is also a chance for extension. Working hours, Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week.

Your responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on vehicles.
• Assembly and mounting during repairs, modifications, and maintenance work.
• Document performed work according to current routines and processes.
• Identify and report the need for further actions in collaboration with colleagues.
• Contribute to ensuring safe and efficient operations.

We are looking for someone who

• Has a technical education and/or a few years of practical experience in maintenance work, mechanics, and troubleshooting.
• Communicates fluently in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
• Has a valid driver's license (Category B).

Experience working with trains or railway vehicles is considered an asset.

As a person, you are responsible, meticulous, and solution-oriented. You thrive in collaboration, have good social skills, and a genuine interest in technology. You are driven, proactive, and motivated by developing working methods and driving work forward.

📄 Employment type: This is a consultancy assignment where you are employed as a consultant via The Place and work at our client. There are good opportunities for extension.

⏰ Working hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday 08:00–17:00
