Your responsibilities

In this role, you will work together with the rest of the transport department to optimize our transport operations in the Norrköping area. You will seek cost-effective solutions through efficient route planning. Your task involves scheduling trips for our trucks in both the short and long term, taking into account changes in our customer structure. To succeed in this, you will maintain frequent contact with other functions, both internally and externally. A central part of the job is also coordinating drivers before loading, especially when capacity on certain routes is insufficient. The work is largely operational and involves close collaboration with your colleagues. You will have daily dialogue with sales staff, customers, and carriers, often requiring quick action.

You are analytical and have an eye for detail, which helps you identify opportunities for improvement. You are a meticulous person who appreciates order and structure. The ability to take initiative, make quick decisions, and be solution-oriented is important in the role of Transport Planner. Collaboration is important to you, and you possess excellent communication skills.

To succeed in the role, we believe you have:

• A logistics or transport education, or relevant work experience.
• Good computer skills, with previous experience in Transport Management Systems (TMS) and Excel being highly meritorious.
• The ability to read and understand written information and instructions in Swedish.

If you have experience in transport planning or similar roles, as well as geographical knowledge, we also consider this highly meritorious.

Your workplace

You will become part of the transport department in Norrköping, where transport planners and order controllers work together. At the Norrköping warehouse, we have approximately 400 warehouse employees and about 40 drivers.

Employment type: Permanent position, with a 6-month probation period.

Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday 04:00-12:45 (Saturday work may occur).
