Matboden (formerly Korvboden) is a popular stop for both local and long-distance guests. Here we serve fast food, now in a completely new iteration, located right inside the department store. We are now looking for reinforcements for the team working in the very center of the action. Does this sound like the right challenge for you?

Job Responsibilities

At Börjes, there is a full-scale push, and the former Korvboden is the latest example. With the new opening, Matboden has expanded quickly, and we meet hungry food guests daily. We work with a wide range of fast food options, all underpinned by our strong brand and customer focus.

The job responsibilities naturally revolve around service, where every customer should feel seen, welcome, and satisfied with a filling visit. The work group has some rotation involving cash register duties, simple food preparation, and restocking.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Have relevant professional experience, preferably within the restaurant industry (fast food or similar).
• Are service-oriented with experience and knowledge to contribute to an inspiring operation.
• Are a team player who contributes positively to the team. Your attitude is the most important aspect; much of the rest of the role can be learned during the introductory period here.

We Offer

This is a permanent position with an initial probationary period. Start date: April. Working hours according to schedule. Part-time 30 hours/week, weekend work occurs. Fixed salary. Collective agreement for the Retail sector. Location: Tingsryd.

Start date latest August or by agreement.

About the Company

Börjes Tingsryd is a family-owned department store in southern Småland, between Växjö and Ronneby. In 1944, the sale of textile goods started in a 20 sqm premises. The company has grown gradually and today occupies 8,000 sqm of retail space. The operations consist of a department store, an equestrian sports shop, and a central warehouse in Tingsryd. Additionally, there are three external equestrian sports shops across the country and an e-commerce site at borjes.se. The company currently has a turnover of over 350 MSEK.
