As a waste collection driver at SSAM, you are a key figure in their work for a sustainable and cleaner environment. You contribute every day to ensuring our municipality runs smoothly and that we achieve our environmental goals together.
Working hours are during the day. On-call availability for work on weekends and public holidays may be required. Start in mid-August.
The role involves:
- Picking up and transporting waste from both households and businesses within Älmhult Municipality, according to established routes and schedules.
- Ensuring high quality and service by handling waste safely and efficiently, in accordance with current procedures and environmental requirements.
- Meeting customers with a friendly and professional attitude, acting as an important ambassador for SSAM and contributing to a positive experience in contact with residents.
- Reporting deviations and following safety regulations to create a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- As part of their team, your work is crucial for maintaining good service for the municipality's residents while protecting the environment for future generations.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for someone who:
- Is responsible, service-oriented, and flexible.
- Has a positive attitude and enjoys working both independently and in a team.
- Has good physical fitness, as the work is physically demanding.
Requirements:
- At least a Category C driving license
- Digital tachograph card
- Valid Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC/YKB)
- Swedish language skills (spoken and written)
Merits:
- Experience in waste management or similar service roles
- Category CE driving license
- Computer literacy
