All our production takes place in Mölnlycke and covers the entire chain from design and development to precision turning, grinding, surface treatment, assembly, and quality control. About the role

As the Production Planning & Development Manager, you report to the Production Manager and work closely with several teams on planning, monitoring, and developing the daily manufacturing of special optics. You act as the connecting link between all departments in the chain from order to delivery, ensuring that the right products are delivered at the right time.

The role involves a varied and development-oriented daily routine where you combine operational planning with long-term improvement work. You have a clear mandate to influence working methods, flows, and processes and actively contribute to strengthening our delivery capability and efficiency.

The role includes

• Working closely with customer service to develop efficient flows for production planning and correct delivery information
• Create and further develop production plans based on orders, forecasts, and capacity to ensure optimal flows and realistic delivery times
• Participate in planning meetings and drive continuous improvements, for example through time studies, machine optimization, and collaboration with suppliers
• Closely collaborate with purchasing to develop processes for material procurement that ensure continuous production
• Drive and implement new working methods within process and production development
• Daily prioritize and reschedule production in the event of changed conditions, delays, or disruptions
• Monitor delivery precision, productivity, and other relevant KPIs to analyze production efficiency and development potential

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who have a strong commitment to development and improvement work and who thrive in a manufacturing environment. You have several years of experience in production and production or order planning and are accustomed to working structured in complex flows where every order is unique.

You have a post-secondary education in production, manufacturing, or equivalent, and good experience with business support systems as well as report and analysis tools, such as Power BI. You have worked with and developed production plans, processes, and improvement initiatives and have very good communication skills. You are proficient in Swedish and English in both speech and writing.

As a person, you are curious, engaged, and solution-oriented. You are analytical, structured, and enjoy collaborating with other functions. You are motivated by the opportunity to influence, develop production, and create real value for both customers and the business.
