ABOUT THE POSITION

We at Rehabassistans are currently looking for 3 personal assistants who wish to work as on-call hourly substitutes for our female client, located approximately 1.8 miles outside of Kramfors.

The working hours are as follows:

• 11:00 AM – 11:00 AM (24-hour shift with sleeping on-call duty, 7h 45min)

Start date is as soon as possible, so we would appreciate it if you could begin the introduction immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a woman in her 60s who needs your help as an assistant in her daily life. The tasks include:

• Support with daily routines, such as occasional household chores

• Assistance with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing

• Physical assistance

The client uses an electric wheelchair.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with people and can analyze the needs of other individuals. Furthermore, you should be receptive, proactive, solution-focused, and engaged. We place great importance on personal suitability and would prefer that you are calm. The client prefers that you are a woman between the ages of 18 and 65.

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid driver's license and access to a car

• Ability to live with pets (the client has two cats)

• Non-smoker

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written

BENEFICIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in personal assistance or other care work

• Healthcare education or equivalent

Employment level: 3 hourly substitutes on an as-needed basis.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with collective agreements.

To be employed by us at Rehabassistans, you need to have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the role. A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you can present a valid ID document and/or submit a certificate of no criminal record (personbevis) as well as any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the certificate of no criminal record from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record register. From March 1, 2026, new regulations will apply, meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record register and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Swedish Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order well in advance.
