Dematek AB is the market's most comprehensive supplier of lifting equipment, service, and safety training. We are represented throughout Sweden and are now looking for a Commissioning Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work with the commissioning of more complex lifting equipment and system solutions – focusing on control systems, both hardware and software – and ensure that our deliveries function correctly from the first test to handover to the customer.

About you:

You will be offered a position where you work independently and structurally on projects, while maintaining close collaboration with project managers, installation managers, suppliers, and customers. You thrive with freedom under responsibility and enjoy planning, coordinating, and executing the commissioning of technical systems – from procurement through testing and verification (FAT) to on-site commissioning and handover. The role also includes troubleshooting, documentation, and technical support, and you play a key role in ensuring the system functions as a whole.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Relevant technical education, for example in electrical/automation
• Experience in installation, configuration, and commissioning of industrial control systems
• Very good computer skills
• Experience with Siemens TIA-Portal / S7, ABB AC500/800XA
• Experience working with other common system components such as frequency converters, sensors, and subsystems
• Good knowledge of troubleshooting and problem-solving, as well as experience in documenting work
• Valid Class B driver's license
• Swedish citizenship, as some positions require security-cleared personnel assessment

Other

The position involves travel and relocation to installation sites depending on the nature and location of the project, both within and outside Sweden. The work can be physically demanding at times and may sometimes involve working at heights, meaning you must be able to obtain a fitness certificate for climbing with significant altitude differences. Underground work may also occur.

You will be based at our HQ in Segeltorp or as agreed depending on your place of residence. The position is full-time, and travel is a natural part of the job, where you will work at the installation site for parts of the project execution as needed.
