Job Responsibilities

The role of physiotherapist involves outpatient work where you conduct individual assessments and treatments, as well as telephone advice. You guide patients to take control of their own health. Depending on your experience, there is also an opportunity to lead various forms of group activities. You are a natural and important part of our multimodal team, working alongside physiotherapist colleagues, occupational therapists, and other staff at the health center.

About the Workplace

Bäckagård Health Center consists of a doctor's and district nurse's clinic, blood sampling, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, psychology, Child Health Services (BVC), and specialist clinics for asthma/COPD, diabetes, and smoking cessation.

Bäckagård Health Center collaborates closely with the sister health center in Getinge. The health centers share working methods and values and continuously strive to develop collaborative benefits. Getinge is a rural health center, while Bäckagård is located on the outskirts of Halmstad city center. We have the privilege of close cooperation with TILMA, which works with substance abuse.

The health centers offer a pleasant and family-like atmosphere where everyone in the team helps each other. We place great emphasis on personal suitability, where you are expected to put the "team" first. We work together for the patient's health, and you contribute to making patients feel that contact with us is easy and welcoming.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed physiotherapist, preferably with experience from primary care and education in relevant areas. Merits include education in MDT/McKenzie, OMI, and acupuncture or similar. You thrive working both in teams and with individual treatments, and you contribute flexibility, responsibility, and a good mood to your workplace. We work with computerized medical records and several computerized support systems, so good computer skills are required. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
