About the role and us

At the Kungsbacka Ward, we have 17 care beds. We provide 24/7 care within palliative care, rehabilitation, geriatrics, and postoperative care. Patients are referred to us from other hospitals or from primary care. At our workplace, you will work in an environment characterized by good team spirit, camaraderie, and a high level of ambition, where every employee is an important part of the whole.

As a nurse with us, you will be a valuable asset in a team consisting of doctors, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and social workers. Our care-adjacent service team (VNS) is on-site every day of the week and manages the ward's premises and storage, as well as handling many tasks that do not need to be performed by care staff. This means that the nursing staff can focus on what we do best: the patients.

You will perform standard duties for a nurse on an inpatient ward. The work is responsible and requires knowledge, skill, and a big heart. It is important to us that you enjoy your work, and we therefore strive to ensure a good working environment for everyone.

We are now offering a temporary position where working hours are scheduled for days and evenings. The extent of employment is according to agreement. Full-time means 38.25 hours per week.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. We would appreciate it if you have experience in palliative care and/or rehabilitation. Experience with the IT systems Cosmic and Lifecare is an advantage. Depending on your background, we offer an individual introduction program adapted to your previous experience.

As a person, you have a positive outlook on your surroundings and enjoy working in a team. We value that you are responsible and have good collaboration skills. You are good at listening and communicating with patients, relatives, and colleagues. As a nurse with us, you are engaged, take initiative, and advocate for modern healthcare. We strive to have the right person in the right place and therefore place great emphasis on personal suitability.
