Right now, we are recruiting on behalf of our client – an international and rapidly growing industrial company in Karlskrona – for a senior and reliable Health and Safety Support Specialist.

This is a fixed-term assignment with an immediate start. For the right person, there are very good prospects for extension, and the client is also open to a "trial and hire" arrangement for those interested in a potential permanent position in the long run.

In this role, you will have overall responsibility for the facility's work within health and safety. You combine strategic thinking with operational execution to ensure that the business complies with Swedish legislation, internal guidelines, and certification standards. You work closely with production, management, and external parties to drive and develop systematic work environment work at both the facility and system levels.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and ensure compliance with work environment legislation and the ISO 45001 management system.
• Be responsible for the facility's risk management, including risk assessments, corrective actions, as well as investigation and follow-up of incidents.
• Support, guide, and train the business in work environment requirements, routines, and documentation.
• Monitor, analyze, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends within health and safety.
• Participate in internal and external audits as well as certifications.

Requirements

• Experience working in health and safety within manufacturing or industrial operations.
• Good knowledge of Swedish work environment legislation and relevant authority requirements.
• Experience with risk assessments, work environment plans, and processes for corrective actions.
• Experience with management systems, preferably according to ISO 45001.
• Experience with incident investigations and work environment reports.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in creating work environment plans.
• Experience collaborating directly with supervisory authorities (e.g., the Swedish Work Environment Authority) or certification bodies.
