About the Social Services Department

The Social Services Department is responsible for individual and family care, elderly care, and care for people with disabilities. We work preventively with support, interventions, and authority exercises for children, young people, families, adults, the elderly, and people with disabilities.

About the Role

As an employee here, you will have a meaningful job where you truly make a difference in people's daily lives. Central Home Care is part of Huddinge Municipality's own administration, and we are now looking for new colleagues. Our operations are based out of a location in Huddinge Centre, which is easily accessible by public transport.

We work based on the customer's decisions and implementation plans, placing great emphasis on ensuring that the support, care, and service we provide are always adapted to the individual's needs. Our customers meet dedicated employees. We strive to work person-centred and to strengthen professionalism in the role. An example is that our fixed care contacts themselves take responsibility for collaborating directly with rehab, home healthcare, and other partners when necessary, always with the customer's best interest in focus.

We are available for our customers every day between 07:00–22:00. Working hours are scheduled for day and evening shifts as well as weekends. Duties include personal care, cooking, digital shopping, cleaning, laundry, escorting, and social interaction.

The role also includes documenting and preparing implementation plans according to current legislation, which means you must express yourself very well in spoken and written Swedish, as well as be able to receive and note down oral information via telephone. We cycle to customers.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are trained as a care assistant (undersköterska) and have previous experience working in home care, as well as cycling experience.

You must be able to speak and understand Swedish well and also be able to express yourself well in writing, as communication is important for good cooperation with customers and colleagues.

You are responsible, humble, flexible, and have a professional attitude characterized by good treatment, respect, and dignity. You must also be able to handle a computer and smartphone/tablet.

If you are called for an interview, you need to show an extract from the criminal record register, which is ordered on the police's website and shown in connection with the interview.
