Academikliniken in Stockholm is looking for a registered ward nurse

Our plastic surgery clinic in Stockholm is located at Storängsbotten, Gärdet. The clinical operations currently consist of three departments; Reception, Operation, and Ward. The administrative headquarters of Academikliniken is also located at the clinic.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with several years of experience in surgery and familiarity with reception work. Experience within plastic surgery and commercial operations is advantageous.

You are flexible, confident in your professional role, and a positive person with an interest and ability to work innovatively. You enjoy taking responsibility and engaging yourself. At our clinic, you work in a team and in close relation with the patients, so we see that you have high social competence, can read the patient's needs, and communicate in a trustworthy manner. You are organized, flexible, and have the ability to work both independently and in a team.

Your main responsibilities

As a ward nurse at Academikliniken, you will play a significant role for our patients. Your main responsibilities are:

Reception: Work independently with post-operative follow-up visits, assess and identify any risks associated with these.

Patient contact: Telephone advice, informational conversations, and email contact with patients.

Cooperation and reporting: Cooperate with surgeons, operating room booking, ward, and reception for an optimal patient experience.

Documentation and GDPR: Careful medical record keeping in Metodika. Work in accordance with GDPR.

Communication with external parties: Handle contact with public healthcare and other external partners as needed.

Employment terms

Type of employment: Permanent position with a 6-month probation period.

Start date: August/September 2026.

Working hours: Daytime Monday–Friday. Working hours follow the business's opening hours and customer demand.
