Description

Do you want to become part of our teams with great commitment and heart? We are looking for you who want to work within municipal primary care, specifically in special housing. You will be part of teams with nurses, as well as a cross-professional team consisting of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, unit managers, support staff, and other professions surrounding the patient. The focus is on patient safety and person-centered care.

You have great opportunities to plan and structure your working day so that it works for you, your patients, and your colleagues. The position involves you being the responsible nurse for nursing care at one of our central housing facilities in Sunne.

Our housing facilities are centrally located within walking and cycling distance, but travel by car is included in the role.

You work mostly during daytime on weekdays and approximately every fifth weekend, with flexible working hours. We offer individually adapted introductions, mentorship, and collegial supervision. Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include coordinating and ensuring that specific nursing interventions are planned, implemented, and evaluated. You will educate, supervise, and delegate tasks to support staff. You perform medical assessments, carry out specific nursing interventions, and work in a health-promoting and preventive manner.

The work involves you independently or together with colleagues planning and following up on nursing interventions. Systems supporting us in our work include digital signature lists and the medical record system Life Care HSL.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with a strong commitment and interest in municipal primary care, focusing on the elderly and dementia. Previous experience in similar roles is meritorious. Specialist education as a district nurse, in elderly care, or psychiatry is an advantage.

To succeed in this role, you work independently and take significant personal responsibility in your profession, as well as for the planning and follow-up of healthcare. You value teamwork highly and have a strong interest in working with frail elderly people, dementia, and palliative care.

As a person, you are stable, flexible, have a high sense of responsibility, and the ability to work both independently and in teams. You are driven by challenges and wish to develop both within your profession and within municipal primary care. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and the ability to work with different focuses and in different groups based on the needs of the operations.

Conditions

• Swedish license as a nurse.
• Several years of experience working as a nurse.
• Valid B-driver's license (manual transmission) is a requirement.
• Ability to cycle.

Two reference persons, at least one of whom is a manager, are to be provided at the interview. In connection with any employment, we request an extract from the Police's criminal record and suspicion register. A record may affect your opportunity for employment.
