The Health and Care Administration, with its approximately 1,500 employees, is one of the administrations in the City of Mölndal and covers elderly care, functional support, and healthcare.

The Functional Support Unit works with a team-based approach, and you will join a team consisting of 2 nurses, 1 occupational therapist, and 1 physiotherapist who work towards the same residences and daily activities as you. In total, there are 3 teams within functional support that also help each other across boundaries when needed.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a licensed nurse to join our team. We, who welcome you, are a positive and experienced team with a strong commitment to our mission and the people we serve. We work with patients within all three LSS (Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) groups in residences with special services (BMSS), daily activities, and personal assistance. Geographically, we operate from the Health and Care Unit's office on Flöjelbergsgatan, where other licensed personnel within the municipality also have their starting point. We follow the intentions of the "Close Care" reform and strive for the patient to be involved in their care.

You are the Patient Responsible Nurse (PAS) for residences within social psychiatry or BMSS, as well as daily activities, which means you have the main responsibility for the overall planning for the patients. You create individual care plans and conduct risk assessments together with the rest of the team and with each patient. It is your and the team's responsibility that nursing care is carried out according to current legislation.

As a nurse, you have close collaboration with employees and managers within the various operations. You continuously work with mentoring, training, and informing care staff. Therefore, it is important that you thrive in a role where you get to work with modern methods, be involved in development, and contribute to increased knowledge. We continuously work with competence-enhancing training initiatives focused on the target group within functional support. With us, you work daytime Monday to Friday.

The positions are fixed-term from 2026-09-01 to 2027-09-01.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. You have an interest in social psychiatry and work experience within the functional support area.

As a nurse, you thrive in meetings with others, show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role, have an open and positive attitude, and have the patient's needs as the starting point in your work.

As a person, you are quick to analyze problems, see connections, and suggest possible solutions within the framework of your assignment. You use time efficiently and work systematically, organized, and methodically. You ensure that the work is completed and follow up on the results.

We also see that you are change-oriented, see opportunities for changes, and create situations where new ideas and proposals can be developed. You drive long-term and sustainable change work.

You have good computer skills, a B driving license, and good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing.
